BOUND BEFORE LOVE

" JAB BELA MET HRIDAAN " Hridaan comes to Narayanpur with a purpose. Educated, ambitious, and determined to serve society, he leaves behind the life he knows to work as a government teacher in a village where change is slow, traditions run deep, and people are not always willing to question the way things have always been. Bela has never had the luxury of questioning anything. An uneducated village girl, she has been raised to believe that marriage is the ultimate purpose of a woman's life-that a woman's world begins and ends with her husband, and that her husband is nothing less than God himself. Their worlds could not have been more different. Until one day, their lives collide in the most horrifying and unexpected way. Bela's family forces Hridaan into marriage with her but this is no ordinary forced marriage. Drugged and kept unconscious, Hridaan is married to Bela without his knowledge or consent. When he finally wakes up, he finds himself bound to a stranger, trapped in a marriage he never chose, in a village he barely knows, surrounded by people who expect him to accept the unacceptable. And Bela? She has been taught her entire life that a husband is meant to be worshipped. But what happens when the man she is forced to call her husband refuses to become the god she was taught to surrender herself to? This is a story of a man who refuses to accept a life forced upon him. A girl who has never been taught to imagine a life of her own. And two completely different people who must find a way to exist in the same world....before they can ever decide what they mean to each other.
